What a beauty! The form and the colour of the flowers are exquisite. A joy to paint. I got my sample from the collection of Nezahat Gökyiğit Botanic Gardens, Istanbul. This was also the first time I saw this species. In the following year, I had a privilege to see this beauty in the field, growing in an area facing Hasan Mountain. Endemic to the centre of Anatolia.
